I picked this up at the Ecseri Flea Market in Budapest. At first I thought it was a brooch, but couldn't figure out why the pin mechanism was soldered down at both ends. After much head scratching, I realized that it is a scarf slide. I've never seen one like it and have no idea whether it's contemporary or old. The large oval setting is shiny goldtone; the navettes are dark garnet almost black looking plastic and the round rhinestones are super sparkly clear crystal. The stones are all set in nice substantial prongs. The piece measures 3" high x 3" wide.
